TOSHIBA 27A32	Can't Post

Please help me a bit!

I have a Toshiba 27A32 TV. We had lightning the other day and now the tv picture is folded over to the right of the screen and none of the on screen controls work now. They do not come on when you press TV station, volume, menu, etc. Does anyone know what it could be as I really do not want to order a service manual if I do not have to. Also does anyone know of an outlet for parts as there is no one in Topeka Kansas any longer.

You can go to samswebsite and download photofact number 4671 for $20. My first suspect would be the 5 volt power supply which feeds B+ thru the switches to the microprocessor. If that is not it, it is probably the microprocessor itsself. You might want to check out www.FreeFlatScreens.com/default.aspx?referer=7509165 for an opportunity the earn a free replacement for this set with a little effort on your part.
