TV turning off Can't Post
Hi



I've got a problem with my set in that on start up the screen goes green then the tv shuts itself off and the power supply flashes. This happens every 3 months or so but usually it stays on after a few attempts.

Any ideas, or does this sound terminal?



Any help greatly appreciated

If it is an intermittent short in the CRT, it is terminal. If it a intermittent loss of drive to the CRT cathode, it can be fixed. You need someone with the proper test equipment to determine which.
