Tcl board replacement Can't Post

I have a LE48FHDF3300ZTA that is about 5 years old. I realize these TVs are disposable but this one has/had a really good picture 240HZ. There was a lightning strike near my house and my cable box was toast in about a day. Next to go was my receiver about a week later and finally my TCL. It would turn on but then a snowy screen would appear. Turning it off/on fixed the problem until it just went off and would turn back on. Standby blinked then went solid. After a while the standby is now dark. At this point I realize it's ready for the dumpster. I've bought and replaced the on/off volume/power supply board/sub board to no avail. My next and final step would be to replace the T-Con board. Any of you experts out there know if a bad T-Con would be the culprit? I've done research on the net but no real answers. Thanks for all replies.
