Toshiba 43hx71 convergence?

Hi, I have a Toshiba 43hx71 rear projection set that up until last night has been perfect. It is only 3 years old. As we were watching last night, the picture suddenly sort of flashed and came back in a weird ghost image that I can only describe as looking like one of the old 50's and 60's 3D comic books without using the included 3D glasses! The colors are reduced to blue and a shade of red and pink; the image is now doubled and about 1 or 2 inches apart. Convergence adjustments do not work. Auto focus button comes back with an error. I've read through several posts on this board and it sounds like it could be a convergence circuitry problem? I'm wondering if this is a part (board) that I can replace and how I can find out which one it is. Would it help to download a service manual for it? I live out in the sticks in Colorado and it's very difficult to get service here. Thanks for any help.
