Toshiba Convergence Issue Can't Post

I have a toshiba 42H81 that needs a new convergence board. I found a PD0073P (mine is a PD0073E) from a 43HX71. Is there any chance this will work? The part numbers are the same as well except for the ending B (and I have a C). Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks. Paul.

Pablorockp;....

There may be a slight difference since your TV is a 42" & the board you want to use is for a 43" TV...
You may see some small misconvergences in the pix....
We have FOUR different letters for the SAME board ????

PD0073P
PD0073E
ending B
have a C
WHAaaaaa da...

Nothing like confusing the techs !!!!....Unsure....

WHY do you need a "new" board ????
Not possible to fix the old one ???

Re: [Ron.M] Toshiba Convergence Issue [In reply to] Can't Post

My brother was tossing it, so I decided to try and fix it. I'm no tech, but I've fixed assorted stuff before. I tried to replace the chips, but I think I messed up the board either removing or soldering them back in (to hot). I figured I would give it one more try before I toss it myself. If I can find a board for around $100, it's worth it, otherwise it goes. It would make a great set for my old gamming systems.

I found a PD0073P on e-bay. If there is a chance it may work, I may buy it (haven't yet).

Pablorock;....

Suggestions;=>...

PM or email or "contact seller" thru eBay...
Ask them if they would guarantee that their board would work in your TV EXACTLY the same as your original....
Ask them IF it doesn't work , can you get a "full" refund...
Remember that you can & should pay using PayPal so IF there's a problem , you can go to them for help....

Compare the pix below to yours , part by part....
MUST match yours EXACTLY to be SURE it stands a chance to work right...

eBay Toshiba boards;=>....
http://shop.ebay.com/...t=See-All-Categories

I would be leary to spend $123+ & find out it won't work or install correctly....Your money , tho....
Even tho the number is PD0073 , it IS for a 43" TV & may not match your 42" TV...
It is the complete chassis...
You may have mounting &/or electronical differences that are not compatable with your set....

This one;=>...

is anybody's guess....
Pix is poor & the part number is not even close to yours....PD0078 !!!!

Methinks you are outta luck.....

TRY to have a GREAT day.....Sly....

GOOD LUCK....Sly.....
