Toshiba Help Question Can't Post

I have a Toshiba Model No. CE32T11, Chassis No. TAC9916 that I purchased around 2000. A while back, the TV cut off and the power indicator light started blinking. I turned it off, turned it back on a few minutes later, and it worked fine. A few months ago, the problem became more frequent, and I had to keep it off longer before it would come back on. Now, the power indicator light just blinks and I cannot get the TV to come on.
Any ideas, or is it best to look for a new one?

Re: [GoStangs] Toshiba Help Question [In reply to] Can't Post

I forgot to include in my initial post that I have unplugged the TV for various periods of time, and it has not seemed to help.

You have defective solder joints on the flyback and R442.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think it's worth taking to be repaired, or would it be best to get a newer set? I can't fix it on my own, so maybe a better question is, about how much am I looking to spend if I get it repaired?

If it was my set , I would take it in for repair as should not cost over $100.00.
