Type: LCD TV Manufacturer: Toshiba Model:46G310U Symptoms: TV Powers on and displays Television Show through Direct TV Box for 30 minutes to 1 hour and then powers off. After being off for a few minutes the TV turns back on and continues playing whatever channel was on before the TV powered off. The Power Light does not stay on when the TV turns off. The Direct TV box does not cut off during this process. The TV, Direct TV Box and HD Booster are all plugged into a surge suppressor. These devices have been plugged directly into multiple outlets bypassing the surge suppressor. No other devices (AC Unit, Computers, etc.) are connected to the same electrical circuit. The Direct TV Box was originally connected with an HDMI Cable into HDMI1 and then HDMI2 with no change of symptoms. Direct TV Box was then connected with Component Cables with no change to TV symptoms. When the TV is not connected to Direct TV Box or any other Device the screen displays "No Input" and stays on for hours without powering down. When the TV is connected to a DVD Player through Component Cables the TV never cuts off. When the TV is connected to a laptop through HDMI cable the TV never cuts off. Direct TV has sent three technicians and replaced the Direct TV Box with no change to TV symptoms. Am I wrong to think that a DC Current may be coming through the Direct TV Box and hitting the main-board causing the TV to cut off? Power Board was removed, the information on the power board is Chicony PK101V2520I Rev:01 Sleep Timer has been checked, and disabled. So Sleep is not the problem.
