Toshiba ir faulty Can't Post

Hi.
I’m new to the site. I’ve been struggling with a toshiba tv for a while. Hope someone can help.
So my remote stopped working. Tv is a Toshiba 40TL868. Tried new batteries obvs, tried the camera check and I can see the ir working. Also tried a one for all with no luck. So I've taken the tv apart after looking online for a fix. I've got the ir board V28A001326A1 out. Trying to buy a replacement but had no joy. Does anyone know where an which ir sensor is fitted to this board, and where I could get one? I can solder so that's not a problem. Or if there’s anything else I could try.

Seems to be no dry joints on it. Or is there any other checks I can do etc. I’m not a tv engineer, but I do work in electronics.

Thanks for your time.

Jamie

Remote receiver should have three pins - Ground / B-Plus and Signal. You can easily measure b-plus, but signal is most easily observed with a scope. If B-plus & Signal are present, Main board is next most likely.

Thanks for your reply. Could you break it down a bit for me please. I’ve got a multi meter. And I’m used to taking voltage readings or resistance. Not sure what I’ll be looking for etc?

Thanks

Don’t think I’m in the right place. That pic don’t mean anything to me lol
Do you know what type of ir sensor it is? And where I can buy one? I’ll just change it and see if it works.
I was just trying to save a bit of money an not send it to a tv repair shop.
Thanks for trying to help me tho.
