Toshiba model CF27H20 Can't Post
Discalimer: I have zero knowledge about televisons or electronics, also zero tools.
I've salvaged a CRT style color television from the trash. No remote control with it.
Toshiba model CF27H20. Toshiba site produces no results for this model in their troubleshooting utility.
My Avex universal remote can turn this on/off, and can move the volume bar UP. That's it. No control over channels, or volume down.
Manual button pushing on the set itself brings up all the usual (contrast, color intensity) and a page showing TV / Video 1 / Video 2. Hooked up a DVD player with RCA cables, nothing is showing on screen, just static.

Obviously I intend to both learn and to acquire tools. You don't have to be such an asshole when someone is just being honest about their lack of experience.

On the menu screen, did you try Video1/2 when hooked up to the DVD played?
