Transistors. Can't Post

Hey, I have a sharp TV, that has blown both the LOPT transistor, and the main transistor for the power to the rest of board. Before going to buy a couple of new trasistors,
1) What could cause them both to fail?
2) Would one of them failing cause teh other to fail? and if so which one is more likely to have failed first?

Soz for the little info.

Re: [TheOW] Transistors. [In reply to] Can't Post

The line failed first, The reasons being perhaps the transformer is shot which caused excess drag on the supply. There is also the other likely reason, the supply regulation failed, the power went high blew the line which blew the chopper. Welcome to my world.
