Westinghouse LTV-32W6 Can't Post

I have a Westinghouse LTV-32w6 LCD TV. When I turn it on, the power light turns on and audio/video shows up. For about half a second to one second, I am able to see the video. However, after that, the screen turns black. When I take a flash light and shine it to my TV, I can see that the video is still there. I have heard that this is a problem in the inverter board. I have checked all the connections on the inverter board and everything looks fine. I was hoping that there would is a known fix for this particular TV.

Yes, inverter board or back lights bad. Westinghouse sets are very hard to find any parts for they are made to throw away.Stay away from westinghouse stuff! Good luck.

Think you will find its slightly darker than normal, Check inverter transformers for dry joints but liklihood is backlights, dont fancy your chances fixing it.
