Zenith 27"	Can't Post

Hi, my tv lost the power button and when I tried to turn it on with a piece of wooden stick, two green resistors next to it made a short and the tv sounds like is turned on but it is not working anymore. Any suggestions on what to check?

How did wood cause a short? I would start by checking the fuse located right around where the plugin enters the set.
