Zenith 27" TV	Can't Post

I have an old Zenith TV set-27". When I hook up a new VCR or VCR-DVD combo, and go into the menu for the VCR the picture shakes making it difficult to program. The VCR picture itself is fine as is the DVD picture on the combo units. In fact the Menu on the DVD is fine. This has happened with a JVC VCR model and a Panasonic model. Is there a way to fix this maybe by changing the setup for the Zenith?

The model is SF 2799Y, and the shaking is in the vertical position.

Any help would be appreciated.

some older zeniths would do this and there was not way to stop it
