Zenith A25A23W Can't Post

I don't get any raster on this. Everything else seem to be fine but no raster, which means no picture. Can anyone suggest areas that i may need to troubleshoot? I can see the onscreen menu and everything but still no raster.

Repaired one of those one time and it was Q2209, Q2210 and the tuner! You might get lucky and it will just be the transistors.

I don't know where you are located, but a local parts house will find for you.

Well i wasn't so lucky afterall. Will have to change the tuner as well.
I checked the transistors out and they were shorted so i replaced them and i got the raster back. Tuner wouldn't pickup any channels so i will have to get a new one. After i replaced the transistors i'm getting some arcing right where the high voltage line enters the tube.Any ideas what may be the problem? Thanks for all the help on this great forum!

With the TV OFF, discharge the high voltage in that anode hole. You do this by taking a slim screwdriver and attach a jumper from the screwdriver to the ground wire that runs around the back of the tube. Remove that anode lead and inspect it very closely to make sure there are no breaks in the rubber and clean it. Clean all around that hole upto 8 to inches away.

Thanks for all assistance! When i changed the tuner the arcing stopped. So it seems the tuner, in some way, was causing the arcing.
