Akai 27: wide screeb LCD tv model # LCT2816
my tv turned off in the stand by mode and wont come back on i was watching tv and i turned it off and when i came back to turn it on it wont come back on? any ideas i might start trying or even praying?. i tryed unpluging it and turning it off by switch or even checking the remote? please help

You're symptom description isn't real clear.

If the set's standby light is still on and it won't turn on it's a pretty good indication that the PS is good. That pretty much points to a bad main board.

If the standby light is absent it's a good indication the PS board has failed and if the set is turning on and then shutting off it's probably a bad main board.
