black spot Can't Post
I just purchased a panasonic 52" rear projection T.V. lcd/hdtv. I hooked it up and it appeared to be working fine. I clicked on menu and it came up fine but when menu dissappears I now have a big square black box in the middle of the screen. If I press menu again the box goes away and I can view the entire screen except for where the menue is displayed. Then when menu dissapears the box comes back. Football on tomorrow must have it working please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

no model number posted but it sounds like a faulty eeprom or microprocessor ic.if you just bought it I would take it back

not sure mel I'm at work and will check I'm certain its something like that cause when I press the menu button the black spot goes away and the entire screen is viewable except where the menu is displayed

You nailed it, thanks now i can see the entire screen not just feet and heads
