I had an extra crt tv, and one day i decided to make something with it.
I followed the insructions at www.zyra.org.uk/oscope.htm to make an oscilloscope out of it. It worked fine for awhile. I had it plugged into a sound system through a spare amp. Then one day i took the system to a party and when i plugged everything in, there was a 120v charge that came from the tv and fried my amp. It was working fine an hour before with everything set up the exact same way. Does anyone know what could have caused tthis?
