I have a hitachi 36" tv ,If I move my tv for any reason or if a fuse goes out in my house it makes the whole screen go horizonal,If I unplug everything from it and let it set a few days then sometimes that fixes it.FrownAny advice

do you mean the picture collapses into a horizontal line? if so then the vertical scan ic probably needs resoldering as there is a bad solder joint on one or more pins.

you have a loose connection or bad solder joint somewhere.if you are able then use an insulated plastic stick to prod around inside till you find the area of the tv where the problem is.should not be too difficult
