jvc converg issues Can't Post
ive got a jvc r52wh74 that the colors have seemed to separated on. looks like ive drank to much and cant focus. ive seen sum people talking bout auto converg in their menus. this i dont have. is there a way to pull up a service tech menu and get to it? also seen talk bout fuses & a flysomething. i can and able to dismantle & soldier(i service beverage equiptment), i just dont know what im looking at or need to do. can sum1 please help?

Sorry, no such soda machine ... I mean jvc tellavison has ever ben maid. Wink

That is an RCA, not a JVC.

Yes, a mini fuse next to the flyback. You will need to be able to solder. The cold solder on the flyback and around the deflection pcb is the cause of the problem to begin with.

It is an rca. i resoldered the flyback, replaced the mini fuse. this seemed to fix the problem. now,, seeing how ive messed with all the focus adjustments, the picture looks good but the words(like on video games or advertisments) looks a little hazy. ive adjusted the lens' amd got them aliened. went into the menu and adjusted the picture settings, and also adjusted the focus & color on that box behind the front speaker cover. was debating going into the service menu and resetting to factory. is this a good idea or is there something else i should try first?!

You can try cleaning the CRT lenses and mirror. Could be "showing it's age."

I'll stick by my original statement about staying out of the Service Menus.
