what would be the best thing to do to my grundig tvs cir. board so that it would be too expensive to repair

If you are trying to do an insurance fraud be very careful. Insurance firms meet people doing just that and employ people like me to fix you up. You get me on your case in a fraud court and I will win, I know before I get there. So instead of getting a new TV you get the bill for a court, lawyers, me, and you lose insurance and have a black mark on your name. My advice is its not worth the risk, Insurance companies will pay thousands if they think its fraud, and they dont pay without a good look see.
