The green power button keeps blinking and the set does not power on. I got a tech to look at it and he said the digital module needs to be replaced and maybe the whole eletrical chasis. I was thinking that I could probably do it myself and wanted to know if anyone has done this and where they got the parts from.

You have checked the lamp I assume?

Was this "tech" an authorized servicer? If not, get a second opinion.

Your Tech is probably right. If the standby LED is blinking non-stop, then either the DM module is bad or one of the standby power supply voltages is missing. This is definitely a job for the pros. Replacing the DM module is a major task requiring extensive disassembly of the chassis.
