mitsubishi vs-50801	Can't Post

I have a mitsubishi vs-50801

the red gun isnt working. The flyback has an output for each gun. I swapped the green with the red and the green still works.

I do see a glow at the bottom of the gun. besides a possibly open high voltage wire to the gun is there anyother method of troubleshooting to see if the gun is good

Try swapping the crt boards and see if the green or blue crt board will drive the tube. If not the red tube is bad.

Before i recieved your reply ,I checked all wiring ,solder joints,etc.

Still no red . I then turned up the screen control on the foucus block.

I was behind the set ,and saw that the red came on .

By the time i got to the front to admire my work , the set had volume and a red ,green and blue horizontal line across the screen.

Any idea what may have caused that or what i can do to correct this problem.
