panasonic plasma problem Can't Post

I had a power surge the other day and now my panasonic 42 in plasma wont take a cable signal. I discovered the hdmi port of the cable box does not work and the tv does not produce a picture with a new box. I tried the regular cable wire and still nothing. It powers up fine. Does anybody have an idea what got fried and where I might be able to find the part? Thanks

It is a panasonic TH42PE7U. It is a little over a year old. The power side was protected with a surge protector. I think the surge went thru the cable side then thru the HDMI in cable box to the TV.

I have to say thanks for all of the help sonny. The problem was the tuner board. I purchased one from shopjimmy for $125 delivered and did the install. Everything appears to be running fine now. Thanks again.
