Don't know your proficiency, but transistors don't fail on own-always a reason in p/s- needs checking of all comp- esp as transistor has burnt up- MOST plasma repairs are fit new panel/s for reliability- comp lev repairs are just not done. If anyone has repaired at comp level, please inform us.

Had a mate who spent half a day tracking a fault on a plasma, right down to a little 6 pin what he thought was a buffer IC worth about 50C. Had its position, its number the lot. Went to the manufacturer, "Sorry sir we dont sell these parts". So as Fuxer says dont waste your time, you will have to buy the panel and then keep your fingers crossed it didnt blow up due to something on another panel.

The transistor got a spike mark on, and their is no high volts for the plasma.
a manual I got, says, find the faulty module and replace it.

I suppose you guys are speaking sense.
thank you
