plasma tv fault	Can't Post

i have a two inch black line coming on my hyundai 42 inch plasma tv from top to bottom could anybody advise me what is causing this problem and how much it may cost to repair this fault[

IF stays in the SAME place when the screen format is changed, it could be the panel.

Put a piece of tape on the bezel where the black bar is, that way you know where it is at when you take the back off. Where that tape is, there will be a flat ribbon connector on the bottom of the set. Pull the cable out and clean it. Make sure you get it back in perfect and tight. If that does not fix, it could be your board it is attached to, or the panel. Good luck to you.
