sony 46ex400 Can't Post

I have a sony 46ex400 tv. Today the remote that came with the tv will not work the tv at all. Put new batteries in the remote still no joy. I have dish and the dish remote works fine except when it tries to work the TV items such as on/off, volume, mute. Everything that works through the dish receiver works fine.
I have worked of a few hd tv's and could probably work on this one if I had a schematic. Could someone direct me to a site that has a schematic or tell me what to look for inside the tv?
Thanks for any info.

Maybe people will learn how important the COMPLETE model number is.

Hopefully one (or more) of these is for your TV?Crazy

You still don't say 'which' model you have.

The model number as shown on the sticker on the side of the tv is: KDL-46ex400

On the site you sent to download the manual it wants me to download a 7zip program that my virus program says it is a virus.
I have a zip program already on my computer so why would I need another one? Why can't I just download the manual?

After link loads ...
Scroll to bottom (below "Document Preview" pane);
The line: "This file is downloadable free of charge... processing (please wait)"
will change to: "This file is downloadable free of charge... GET MANUAL"
Click on GET MANUAL;
Download as you would anything else you've downloaded via your browser/op system.

Ok, got it downloaded and looked. This is not what I was looking for. I would like to have a schematic of, say, the main board and etc. with the parts name and value listed, like the old tv schematics you use to buy. I am a deep diver, ha.
Thanks for your help.

That was then. THIS is now.

Swapping out boards is the 'new troubleshooting.'

Try Googling 'Deep Diving supplies' if you want to "Go Deep."Cool

Sony Corporation
1-7-1 Konan, Minato-ku, Tokyo 108-0075, Japan

Also can try complaining to your governmental officials. Won't do ANY good.

You may also want to peruse other material (including training manuals) for similar AZ1-K (AZ1K) chassis sets available from that same site.
