Hi all. I have a sony KV-36FS13 with no power up. It flashes code 5. Would anyone have any pointers before I open it up?

five blinks indicates a problem with the video circuit. It may be something as simple as a IK failure. Try turning up the screen voltage. If that doesn't work, you need to seek professional help.
