I have a sony tv model kv27s22 that is experiencing a loss of picture. After removing cover and adjusting the vert. screws I have been able to regain the picture but only for a brief time before the screen returns gray or black. Usually the picture goes out after briefly shrinking into a mass of horizontal lines. Sound remains fine. Any fixes for this problem. I have a voltmeter, but no schematics
Sony often suffers from faulty connections where boards join, have a poke around with a wooden dowel etc to see if a push here or there fixes it. If so you need to solder the joints where found.
