sony tv kv-k29MF1 Can't Post

Hi,
I have a sony crt color tv kv-k29MF1 when switch on it goes to standby. when I switch on the channel button I measure the voltage on CN520 pin 1 has 33v, pin 2 has 15v, pin 3 has 15v, 4 and 5 ground and pin 6 has 7v. There is also 135v for x-ray cut but all this drop down again after a few second when the stanby light comes on again due to x-ray cut and the 135v drop down.
The abnormal votage I found is the 5v supply on CN526 pin 2 when measure it only shows 4.4 v which should be 5v indicated on the manual. This goes to the vertical output I.C. STV9379. Could the vertical output IC be the problem causing the 5v supply on CN526 to show only 4.4 volt instead of 5v.
I am a tech but have not repair sony tv a long time and this tv is mine and I like to troubleshoot myself if possible.
Anyone has any info working on this model,
Thx,
alvin.

Throw your own 5 volts on it.

Thx for the info jts 1957 never thought of that. On further thought I cut open the CN526 connector and measure the incoming voltage again and it shows 5v. Must be the vertical IC causing the drop.
Thx.
