What is the symptoms of your Sony? Dead? Clicks? Tries to start? How do you know it is the power supply? If you could give me some details I might be able to tell you how to fix it -- Dan

It clicks when you tryto turn it on but nothing happens. I came to the conclussion that it could be the power supply because someone else posted the same problem and that was the solution.

Here are a few things to check, these are various repairs I've done on these sets with that symptom

------------------------------------------

Transistor Q206 ON K BOARD

Replace Convergence IC (STK392-010) and F1601 on Conv. PCB

Replace H.O.T. (Horizontal Output Transistor) 2SD1887

Check for bad soldered around H.O.T.

Replace Flyback Transformer
