toshiba CZ36v51 problem	Can't Post

my toshiba CZ36v51 when i turn it on the red light flashes, but nothing else happens it sounds like it's ready to turn on, but doesn't. i'm not sure what the problem is, and have looked at the board and nothing appears blown. what do i do?

Since the set is relatively new and a 36" model it is probably worth spending some money on to have it fixed at your local TV repair shop. My guess would be a failed horizontal output transistor but only someone with the proper test equipment and hands on testing can say for sure.
