tv blew up Can't Post

Im trying to figure out how to add pictures so bear with me. I have a samsung plasma tv model # PN51D550C1FXZA . I was watching TV and I heard a loud pop. The screen went black. I heard sound for awhile but I turned the Tv off and back on then no sound. So I took it apart and found a blue disc capactitor taht was blown. It's right in front of a mosfet or (FET)? unsure. Would it be a good idea to try to change that one disc and try it or are there other things I need to check first?

Bet you haven't tried to use SEARCH POSTS. Search for 'posting pictures' and peruse the results. I personally start with newer results, but you do it the way you desire.

You should try to make it easy for people to help you. A valid printed circuit board PART number and a LOCATION number of the burnt item would be quickest. Sometimes just searching the location number can give some results - depends a lot on the database being searched.

When I test certain points it says its suppose to be 15 volts but I'm getting a 14.51 reading. Is this acceptable?

vs-tp suppose to be 207 volts (approx) I'm getting 10.51 vdc
va-tp suppose to be 60 (approx) I'm getting .061 vdc
