tv repairs	Can't Post

I have a tv combo. TV, CD player and video player the make is Bush and the model is BTV213DVD/A.
Recently I switched off my television at the mains instead of using the remote control. When I tried to switch on again, it would not come on' everything is dead including the DVD and Video player.
I checked the fuse and it was ok, I even put a new fuse in without
success. I also opened the back and checked the small see through fuse on the panel where the wire from the mains are connected to and this fuse apeears to be ok as well.

The best advice I can give you is NEVER,EVER buy a TV combo! They will deal you trouble to no end!

good advice from paulpablo.especially with a grey import which this brand is. you could check to see if the kickstart resistor is open circuit which supplies a low voltage to the power supply drive chip, but as no manual available its guess work.
