every two weeks or so the picture turns to a very dark shade of purple, I have to use the remote to restore default settings, meaning i spend a half hour resetting things. there is no pattern to why this happens. Power bar or no power bar, but i have a suspicion that it is a power issue. The city I live in is known for "dirty power" meaning there is some fluctuations and "bumps" in the voltage. I had moved the tv to a different city and it was fine for longer periods of time, but the issue still occurred. any clue?

VQ Renior 32". First tv. had the same problem, took it back (within the one week of buying it) second tv lasted a month. So I was thinking it is a common problem for the brand. The tv always works after resetting to the default settings. Just over a year old. Sold at Visions(in canada) as a promo for VQ to break into the market. I think its model LVQ-32HLA. Havn't been able to find help through dealer/VQ website/google
