RCA DVD/stereo/amp internal cable help Can't Post
   Hey guy's, I'm back again, This time for my DVD player. So 1 or 2 years back my RCA/DVD player started not seeing disc, So of course I took it apart to fix it and found the DVD part has a IDE comp plug on it, well I finally have a DVD/IDE player but I cannot for the life of me remember what type of cable originally went in this or where it is. anyone know the name of this cable and where I might find one? I'm guessing you can replace a 3 disc with a single disc player?

Not enough info. Model 'might' help.

I see IDE style jack in your DVD 'player' photo. Where is IDE connector on main board?

Hello again jts, It is a 2002 RCA HTS-6000, on the back it has cat# 31-5020. If it was just a DVD player I would sht can it, But it is a nice amp/tuner and does lots of things. picture of IDE plug is the old 3 disc holder/player. The white plug on mother board has to be where it goes? But I cant remember, can also see power supply plug on MB next to it for player.

jts, have you ever seen a cable like that? that goes from IDE to something else?
