Don't know really. I bought this TV (made in Holland), in Dubai about 8 years ago. Now, am in India. The TV developed a problem with the tuner. The TV repair suggested that he would put in a new 'kit' instead of repairing the tuner. (Told me tuners for these old models were difficult to get). He removed the entire stuff except the picture tube and the 'base' or whatever was directly attached to it. Put in a new kit - PCB, etc. Gave me a new remote. Now I get about 100 channels. But with the picture problem. The problem become noticeable during a close-up shot. I can the head and eyes of the person normally, but the mouth, neck look vertically stretched. The technician simply says "I have tried my best. I don't know what else to do. Its because of the Tube". These kits are usually local versions of Japanese/korean designs.

It appears you have completely different TV now. And the new remote confirm that also. If I understood correctly, only the tube and a small board sitting on the tube is yours old, that means all electronics, power supply, deflection, tuner, sound and video is all different and new, made by somebody else. And there almost nothng on the CRT board (the one you retained with the CRT). There is likely adjustment of vertical linearity needed, or something is wrong with the "new" stuff the guy put in. You probably will need to find out what knd of TV you have now - name of the chassis at least. Was not it easier to buy a new TV?
