I have a magnavox 27ms343s. It got by lightning. diode d807 is shorted it is a zener but i don't know what value and can't find data sheet. It also took out ic801 wich is a STR F6656. I really need the value of the zener. And any other tips on what else to check. Thanks much for your thoughts.

The only zener that I find listed for that model is a 1N5242 which crosses to an NTE5021.

Hi Mel,

I've heard that you are a veteran of this site..hence pls help me !! I have a Panasonic Projection 53" TV & want the signal board to be removed from the power board. I have removed everything except the 4 white connectors. Can u please advise how can I disconnect the white connectors??

Sorry, I do not work on projection TVs therefore I have no technical info on them.

D807=ZENER 16V IS JOINED TO THE BASE OF TRANSISTOR Q801.
