What does the relay look like, and where is it located I.m not tv savy, but im always willing to learn.

Just look for bad solder joints around the area where the power cord attaches to the pc board. A bad solder joint will usually look grainy and show a lack of connection between the pad and the component lead.

You should look at the horizontal drive transformer for bad pin solders joints.

Hi Guys I checked for bad soldering only found one but wasnt the problem, any more ideas or suggestions ?

Well guys you were right it was lack of solder i had a tech look at it and that was the problem i guess im blind as a bat im giving up fixing tv's i want to thank everyone for there help. Thank you John A.

When some one suggests to you to check solder joints you should grab your solder tool and start to touch up solder joints all over the power supply, you don't have to give up tv repair this is an easy repair and cheap too,
