I think that 1 of 4 amp transistor is burn ed out I will check it out with my meter. Thanks 4 the reply.Dick tv buff.Use to be in the repair buss.NO money in it any more.

Fan work fine.If I disconect the power amp board the Dvd player will work fine.

you have a shot on the amp board remove the output transistor or ic's one at a time
toget the problem
