I just got a Mitsubishi VS-60601 60" from a friend, he gave it to me cause he didnt want to deal with the problem. Here's the thing, whenever i turn it on, it will turn on normally for about 5 minutes, then it will turn off by itself. I can turn it back on, but it will do the same thing in 5 minutes again.
Hello there I have the same tv Model# vs-60601 and the first thing to check for coolent leak on the bord close to the front at around D719 on the signel bord and aslo around Q904 use a old tooth brush and alcohol to clean it with let it dry aso every one of these I worked on I had to resolder Q904 it had bad solder jonts cuseing shutdown after 5 mints I used a tubaware about a foot long to put under the drip area so it wont leak on the bord anymore. hopes this helps if not let me know and I will give you more to check Charles, kf4pbb@verizon.net
