Phillips 60PP9202/17F Can't Post

Hello all,
I got this Phillips tv model 60PP9202/17. When I turn the tv ON, the LED power comes up but I hear a crackling noise, after a few seconds the power light continues to blink and still NO power on the tv, any advice please

Thanks

telestereo;.....

Disconnect connector #1516 at the front end of the LSB panel OR on the SSM panel...
Look for a large finned heat sink that has 2 large ICs on it...
That is the SSM panel...
Right to the edge of that board near the heat sink is connector #1516 also...
IF memory serves , they should be toward the front of the set on the boards...
When you unplug that connector , turn the TV on....
IF the set stays on , you have either a shorted audio output IC OR bad convergence ICs...
Most likely , it's bad convergence ICs...

IF you still hear crackling , you may have a serious HV problem....

Good Luck.....Sly.....
