laser slide stuck

As of today I have some problems with my dvd player, I opened it and see that the laser module is stuck at the end, it is possible to move it foreward.
If the possision of the laser is at the front the dvd player works, but if I open the tray for a new disk, the laser moves the the end and get stuck again.
I don't see any damage, does anyone got some suggestions what I can try to fix this?
The player makes a slicking sound when the laser is stuck.
