Protron 32 inch	Can't Post

I have a Protron 32 Inch flat screen, that is about 1.5 yrs old. last night a 2 inch wide white verticle bar appeared about 5 inches from the edge. nothing has worked yet, really have just tried unplugging it. any ideas? thanks

First mistake: purchasing a Proton
Second mistake: not mentioning which one. Even Proton has made more than one set. Unimpressed

I have a Protron LCD tv mod#PLVTV-32 that died this a.m. The XXte on the front panel was not on and the blue lite on the ac adaptor was not on as usual. I unpluged the cord from the wall to the adaptor then plugged it back in and the lites both came on and the tv operated as normal-for 1 minute, then it went off and both lites were out.
I am looking for some help.
