Gateway GTW-P42M203 Can't Post

Greetings All,

I have a Gateway GTW-P42M203 that does not hold a stable image.

I’ve read on this forum about “green noise” and thought that might be the fix for me, but unfortunately the video of the display’s dysfunction is no longer available. If the X sustain board is the culprit, is there a simple component replacement I can do on the current board, or am I better off just spending the $40 or so to replace the board?

Replace capacitors C8099 and C8100 on power supply board, both are 680uf @ 16volts.

Thanks for the reply and sorry for the delayed response. Replaced C8099 and C8100. The jitter doesn't seem as bad as it was before, but it's still there, as well as something previously mentioned that looks like RFI noise in the picture. I hope the video clip does it justice.

What other components can I replace to repair this unit?
