LG42PC3D Plasma Stand

Does anyone know for sure if the stand on the LG42PC3D comes off completely for TV to be wall mounted. I have been told 2 different stories. One is that this models stand only folds up so you see the 1/2 moon when it is mounted on the wall and another person at Circuit City told me that it comes completely off and that an older model was the one that had the stand folding up. Has anyone hung an LG42PC3D Plasma that could help me please?
