Panasonic Pixelazation Can't Post

My 50" Panasonic (TH-50PX60U) looks STUNNING on HD and even looks pretty good on Standard Def. The problem is, especially with HD programming, If the camera pans very quickly, if there is a quickfire edit effect or there is a strobe light or explosion in the shot... the picture becomes unwatchable due to pixelazation. The CBS Grammy broadcast, with all the strobes, was painful to watch.
I'm hoping these are just digital artifacts from my horrible Comcast Cable HD box.
Anyone else experiencing anything similar?
I use the HDMI input and haven't tried the component in for HD just DVD. Maybe I'll try that this weekend and see if the problem is corrected. I really like the convenience of the HDMI input though.

this is normal on LCD and plasma due to the slow response times of the pixels compared to crt televisions.you will have to live with it

You are exactly right!, (digital artifacts) Plasmas are imune to response rate, there are no noted ratings on plasmas unlike the LCD. However, Your high def box can be the reason and also your comcast. It is inferior from the signal, slow and poor processing therefore, pixelization is present. HDMI will not reduce the problem, the only difference of HDMI from COMPONENT or HD VGA :> is PORTABILITY and again so good to hear, and in paper. I personally do not believe any difference at all.
