Plasma vs LCD Can't Post

Trying to decide between a plasma and lcd. I've done a ton of research and think that's what's confusing me even more! The most important thing to me is picture quality and off angle viewing. I've noticed on some LCDs the picture is "blurry". Right now I'm leaning toward a plasma, is there anything that is really negative about them that might prevent me with going with it? We're looking at a Samsung. Is burn in a big concern when wathcing channels like espn and usa having the logos on the screen?
Thanks!

Re: [Kingston] Plasma vs LCD [In reply to] Can't Post

Burn in ( which leaves a permant image burned into the screen ) isn't a big problem under average viewing habits. You can't watch cable news 12 hrs non stop with out problems.

Plasmas do suffer from image retention which leaves a faint image of those logos and banners across the bottom of the screen.

My plasma has option which instead of the picture it just lights up the whole plasma screen bright white and that removes any image retention.

If playing video games is a big part of what you need a plasma for I would not choose plasma.

I like plasma because of cost and that looking out the window feeling I get with HD tv or dvds.
