plasma- burn in?

We where planning on buying the samsung 42inch plasma tv today but are being put off by all the articles on burn in?
Could someone please explain if this is something to worry about, we've read about wearing the tv in for the first 100 hours but we are still a little worried.
any info gratefully recieved!
