i have a samsung ps50c7hdx/xeu plasma. I have a dvd upscaler and a ps3 and when they are used the in 1080i mode the tv information display says that its displaying 1080i when the tv can only handle 768p. The ps3 on setup checked the tvs maximum output and said that it could handle upto 1080i. I notice a improvment on the 1080i setting but how can this be possible. Is the tv detecting the input signal only and displaying what is being inputted when it is only outputting 768p as it would appear to be showing me the display on the screen. Can anyone help?
