Which is better a plasma 50" panasonic th-50pz700u or a lcd 46" samsung ln-t4661f? Or if yo have any other recommendations for a plasma or lacd around 50"? All help is appreciated.

I like plasmas because they are cheaper than flat panel lcd.They have better picture with blacker blacks than the lcd.
But if you play video games I wouldn't get a plasma because of the chance for burn in or image retention.

You are one watching the set so pick the one that looks good to you.

you should go with what looks best to you. remember plasma is yesterdays technology.LCD is the way forward
